Our Accompanist is Nick Castell. Nick was born and raised on the south coast, where he was an organ scholar at Eastbourne College. While still at College he became organist and choirmaster at St. Philip's Church, Eastbourne. After a gap year as organ and choral scolar at Portsmouth Cathedral, Nick studied music at Manchester University followed by a PGCE course. He worked as Organist and Master of the Choristers at Bury Parish Church while still at University. After graduating he became Director of Music there and also joined the music department at Bury Grammar School for Girls. In September 2009 he became Assistant Head of Music at New Hall School, Chelmsford, and we are delighted to welcome him as our new accompanist this term.
