one of the foremost mixed, adult choirs in Essex
85+ strong
based in Great Waltham, five
miles north of Chelmsford in 2006/2007 we
performed Haydn's Nelson Mass and Beethoven's Choral Symphony in Chelmsford Cathedral with the Salomon Orchestra
gave the premiere performance of a new carol by Bob Chilcott at the Macmillan Cancer Support Carol Concert in Chelmsford Cathedral
toured to Yorkshire and were joint commissioners of a new work by David Bedford to celebrate his 70th birthday
we welcome:
new singers in all parts. We rehearse on Thursday nights in Great Waltham School. We do not hold auditions but we set ourselves high standards and relish the challenge of performing a wide range of choral music
